WHITMAN LAKE USE RULES

1. Only residents may water-ski or jet ski on Whitman Lake.

2. Limit two (2) boats on lake skiing or traveling more than 8 miles per hour at a time. Keep your turn short. Be considerate!

3. All boats traveling more than 8 miles per hour must travel counter-clockwise.

4. Fishermen and swimmers must keep to either outer edges or center portions of lake. Keep out of ski lanes.

5. Property owners and/or renters (residents) must be present when speedboats or ski boats are being operated from their property.

6. Speed limit is 8 miles per hour after dusk.

7. It is illegal to operate any watercraft under the Influence of alcohol or drugs.

8. All watercraft must meet United States Coast Guard Standards:

A. Proper Amount of life Vests
B. Fire Extinguisher
C. Horn
D. First Aid Kit
E. Be Registered and Licensed.

9. All laws and rules are strictly enforced.
